After much thought narrowed choices to NH TC25, JD4200, KUBOTA L2500 and decided on theTC25. Mainly will use the tractor for cutting pasture and clearing snow on 800 ft paved drive. Property is 80% hillside. Could use some opinions from TC25 owners before I plunk down my hard earned cash. Any problems? How's the manual tranny? Would R4's add stability on hillsides? If so, would I be sacrificing traction on snow as opposed to R1's? Is the deluxe 3Pt worth the extra cash? What year were the TC's first produced? Any TC owners comments, opinions,or ansers to my questions would be greatly appreciated!

The TC where available the latter part of 98. The TC with a D at the end the deluxe3pt is standard and if not its worth the extra bucks to have it on the tractor. The manuel tranny has no problems and is very similar to the previous tractors the 20 and 30 series . The R4 tires give the benifit of float and the traction in one tire . ....

I have to respectfully disagree with the gentleman (fastcars) who doesn't feel the deluxe three point hitch is worth the extra money. I have a JD 4300 that does not have the telescoping draft links on the three point. I wish Deere offered this as an option. In my opinion this is a great feature well worth the price if you are attaching heavy three point hitch implements. I have a JD 25A flail mower that weighs nearly 700 pounds. It would be much easier with the telescoping draft links.I would recommend the deluxe hitch. ....

Have the deluxe 3 point on my 1925 Boomer. Can't remember...was it a $50 option. Well worth it...makes hook-up much easier. Bet if you asked all of us that have one, we'd say we'd order this option again. ....

I think he (fastcars) is sayingg it is worth the extra money. The TC-with-the-D has them as standard, if not (in other words, the plain TC), it's worth the extra money. " The TC with a D at the end the deluxe 3pt is standard and if not its worth the extra bucks to have it on the tractor." ....
